WANG XINGWEI | Recycling the Old Computer

Wang Xingwei’s unique representation of his vision in 3 dimension, Recycling the old computer, is created in different scales. The unique sizes and finishes highlight Wang Xingwei’s subtle yet sharp criticism on the idiosyncratic nature of dynamics of power, censorship and moral codes of today’s rapidly transforming society in a whimsical, yet penetrating way through the seamless construct of the sensual figure within formal juxtaposition of simple forms and lines.

The life-size work of Recycling the old computer showcased at “Shanghai Galaxy II,” at Yuz Museum, November 10, 2017 through February 11, 2018.
